Six men burst into Shoebury home with gun

SIX men burst into a Shoebury home armed with a gun and threatened the family inside.
They knocked at the door of the house in Delaware Road at about 10.25pm on Sunday. When the occupier answered it they forced their way inside.
A 28-year-old man was threatened with a gun as the men demanded cash.
This man, a 23-year-old woman and a child were not injured, but the two adults were very shaken by the incident. The men left with only a phone and several kitchen knives.
Three white men had scarves over their faces, as did one of the three black men. Another black man wore a ski mask. The men are all believed to be aged between 18 and 25 years.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at Southend on 0300 333 4444 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

London scum. They travel up the Fenchurch Street line, commit crimes close to a station, then hop the next train back to east London.
Me thinks perini and drivingmecrazy are right these men thought there was more than kitchen knives and a mobile phone on offer at this house to have gone to so much trouble!!!!

As for 6 men, when have you heard of 6 burglars robbing a house unless its some country manor and in Delaware Road I highly doubt that...if you want to get involved in this kind of stuff then accept the consequences, and maybe don't put your family at risk in the first place
