Was this not caught on the plaza's cutting edge big brother CCTV system, and where were the 'mall cops' whilst all this was happening???

CCTV systems are only as good as those who operate them, Pay peanuts you get monkeys!!
I personnally would not put my faith & Security in locally run CCTV Systems. Having in the last 10years had dealings with several nationwide security companys who have central call centres maned 24/7, and been inside them and seen them working. Then anyone who wants full security should think seriousely about paying the full price for that security. And not cheap skate tin pot locally run companys. And yes I have been on the end of emergency call outs in the middle of the night as the main key holder & been there at the same time as the Cops, & in some case's just before the fire service. All alerted by a National call centre who had already supplied video of the incident to the relevant Police authority.
