West Street in Westcliff closed this weekend

A road will be closed in Westcliff so new traffic lights can be installed.

West Street between the junction with Victoria Avenue and North Road, Westcliff, will be shut on Sunday, April 29.

Traffic will be stopped from 7am until 3pm.

An alternative route for traffic will be signed and resident’s access will be maintained.

Southend council loves a traffic light. All they need to do is make them lights stay green longer. It can take at least 4 sets to change before you get from North Road to the Blue Boar.
