Officers from Kent Police’ Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision at the Dartford Crossing.
Kent Police was called at 4.42am on November 3 to a report of a collision involving a silver Audi A1 and a commercial lorry on the southbound carriageway of the Dartford River Crossing.
The collision is reported to have happened on the Kent side of the Queen Elizabeth Bridge and a woman in her twenties has been taken to a London hospital with serious life threatening injuries.
The bridge remains closed after the collision and there is currently no time of when it will reopen - although it is thought to be "sooner rather than later".

Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw the lorry, which is a white in colour with red and blue writing on the side, and which was towing a drawbar trailer, in the moments before the collision.
The bridge is closed while the emergency services deal with the incident and a diversion is currently in place through the east tunnel.
Traffic is much heavier in the area than usual.
One man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody at this time.
