Crashes on M25 bring traffic to standstill
There have been two crashes on the M25 this afternoon, bringing the motorway to a standstill.
The first one has happened on the clockwise carriageway at J2 (Darenth Interchange) close to the Dartford Crossing.
The exit slip road has been closed off and traffic is currently at a standstill as a result.
A second crash has happened on the anticlockwise carriageway between J1A (Swanscombe) and J31 (West Thurrock).
Two lanes are closed in the West Bore Tunnel and all traffic is using the East Tunnel.
