So just who in our Government decides this creature is a pest and should be destroyed. Surely its the survival or the fittest not at the whim of the Government because it might endanger the red squirrel.
This creature and its family visit our garden regularly and picks up a few peanuts as a reward.
Even our cats have a fleeting regard for them - at a distance.
