The European Court of Human Rights, the court of last resort for the Countryside Alliance, has ruled the 2004 British Government ban on hunting with dogs did not infringe the human rights of bloodthirsty members.
There has actually been an increased participation in riding to hounds since the hunts were compelled to pursue an artificially laid spoor.
But the alliance’s foxy campaign of political intimidation in rural marginal seats has finally resulted in a pledge from David Cameron that the Tories will put their full weight behind repealing the law when they come to power.
