I agree with D Double, who states if councillors had to use the buses, services might improve.
If they had to wait at bus stops in the cold and wet they might do something about replacing bus shelters which have been removed.
I seem to recall reading last autumn that nowhere would be without a replacement shelter for longer than a fortnight.
The bus shelters at Kent Elms Corner were removed well over three months ago with no sign of replacements.
The council does nothing to encourage the public to use buses. After all, who wants to wait about without shelter from the elements if they have a car at their disposal?
I am sure many people in the Kent Elms area would appreciate and welcome the return of these much needed shelters.
