We regularly read in the Echo that the council is trying to ease traffic problems.
We all know that installing traffic lights causes a traffic jam.
A good example is the roundabout at Victoria Circus. At present the traffic moves freely. But the council has now decided to close the underpass and install traffic lights.
This makes no sense because an access road will be closed and the lights will cause a traffic jam.
