Council ignored our approaches

With reference to your article on the flooding at Woodside Cemetery, Thundersley, (Feb 25) we would like to reply to a comment made by Castle Point councillor Bill Dick.

It has always been our desire to work with Castle Point Council, but we have been ignored on many occasions and have received no response to letters sent to him and to senior members of the council regarding other issues.

We have been trying to talk to council members for many years and are only too willing to meet them and resolve any problems as quickly as possible.

I have never had a problem contacting most Cllrs or Council Officers but I would suggest email as the best approach as it goes to them Direct and usually near instant response.
I have never writen a letter just email.
