The wildlife worker is out of touch with the reality of the distress that is being caused to so many people by foxes (Echo, January 18).

In the past two years our beautiful garden has been completely destroyed, new fences have been broken down and every morning my husband has to clear up their disgusting messes.

Surely this is an enormous health hazard to our grandchildren (so much for health and safety), and the noise foxes make at night is unbelievable. In the past we have contacted the fox helpline and have tried everything mentioned in your articles, and various other remedies as well.

However, these foxes are now so tame they are completely immune to everything. Surely foxes, like rats, carry disease and are vermin.

We and all our neighbours now think some action should be taken.
