TODAY'S picture from the past shows a DJ opening a shop in the 1970s.
In September 1971, DJ Simon Dee opens a new boutique, Zebedee’s, in London Road, Leigh.
Dee’s was the first live voice heard from Radio Caroline, the pirate ship moored off the Essex coast, in 1964. He died in 2009.
