Barry Corr - back in the starting line-up
SOUTHEND United manager Paul Sturrock has made four changes to his starting line-up for tonight’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy clash against Brentford.
Two of them have come in attack where Barry Corr will partner Britt Assombalonga as Gavin Tomlin misses out with a back problem and Freddy Eastwood drops to the bench.
In midfield, Tamika Mkandawire returns in place of the cup tied Marc Laird while Luke Prosser has been preferred to Mark Phillips at the heart of the back four.
Southend United: Smith, Clohessy, Cresswell, Prosser, Barker, Mkandawire, Hurst, Timlin, Martin, Corr, Assombalonga
