Tamika Mkandawire - heading back to Millwall
TAMIKA Mkandawire is keen to triumph in what could prove to be his final outing for Southend United this afternoon.
The on loan midfielder will return to Millwall after facing Gillingham at Roots Hall.
But he is determined to help Blues get back to winning ways after losing against Burton Albion on Saturday.
“It’s all about how we respond now after our run of good results came to an end,” said Mkandawire who did not want to speak about his future.
"There's really no better way to get back on track than by beating a side who have been at the top of the table all season so that’s what we’re aiming to do.
"We will work on things ahead of the game and make sure that anything that went wrong against Burton goes right about Gillingham.
“And we want to get the three points to close the gap on them too.”
