Westcliff return to action against Old Old Elthamians

WESTCLIFF return to action at home to Old Elthamians in National Three London & SE tomorrow looking to end a run of eight successive defeats.

Westcliff, who remain in the relegation zone in 12th position, have not triumphed since beating bottom of the table Staines.

But they will be hoping to return to winning ways this weekend against their visitors who sit seventh in the table.

Thurrock, who are ninth, could also do Westcliff a favour this weekend as they travel to Tring.

The Hertfordshire side are second from bottom in the standings, one place below Westcliff.

And Thurrock will therefore be confident of coming out on top.

The T’s will also be looking to build on their 32-23 win against Westcliff in their last outing which came before the Christmas break.
