ESSEX Leopards will look to continue the form that saw them sweep into the National Trophy semi-finals when they travel to Division One leaders Reading Rockets on Sunday.
After a surprisingly poor National Trophy campaign, the Berkshire club have reeled off 12 straight league victories.
But Leopards came closest to ending their perfect start to the league season when they forced overtime in December’s meeting in Basildon before going on to lose 84-76.
Greg Hernandez top-scored for Leopards that day with 27 points and the Big Cats will look to repeat the victory at Rivermead last season which saw them clinch the Division One title.
Rockets overcame adversity with only six men to win at Leicester Warriors last week after the departure of Tomas Janusauskas to Germany and the delaying of Andrew Hunter’s return to the country.
