HARRY ELMES scored a hat-trick as Concord flew back into play-off places with a demolition job over hosts Bury Town, writes Jack Smith.

And in a staggering conclusion to the game, three men were sent off after a foul on Concord captain Tony Stokes sparked an angry melee between the two sides.

The visitors were in the ascendancy from the off and they threatened early as Reece Harris swung in a perfect cross onto the head of Jason Hallett, but he headed narrowly wide from point blank range.

But they did not have to wait long to take the lead as Harry Elmes looped a perfect volley over the diving Bury keeper Marcus Garnham for a delightful opener.

Tony Stokes - who was dropped back into midfield for the missing Jack Lampe as he recovers from a heart complaint - showed finesse when placing a through ball into the well timed path of Hallett, who rounded the oncoming keeper and slotted home the Beachboys' second.

Danny Glozier both went close to making it 3-0 before the interval.

Concord continued to dominate after the restart and the game was then put to bed with a slick passing which saw Hallett cut the ball back for Danny Spendlove and he set up Elmes for an easy third.

Elmes completed his hat-trick when Hallett took on two down the left and cut the ball back for his strike partner to supply a neat one touch finish at the near post.

But their was an unsavoury end to the match as Stokes was fouled with a poor challenge. It resulted in a clash between all players from both sides, and in the aftermath their were straight red cards for Concord's Steve King, and Bury Town's John Kennedy and Luke Ingram.

Concord: Lovelock, Osifuwa, Glozier, White, King, Easterford, Spendlove, Harris, Hallett, H Elmes, Stokes.
