LEYTON Orient manager Russell Slade is certain the O’s can still win their two legged tie Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie against Southend United.

The O’s head to Roots Hall 1-0 down from the first leg at Brisbane Road.

But Slade has not given up hope of getting through to Wembley.

“We’ve made life very difficult for us but there’s a lot to play for as it’s still only half-time,” said Slade.

“We’re now the underdogs and Southend have got an advantage now at home.

“I would think they probably think the job is mainly done but I think it’s far from over though and there is a lot of football still left.”
