ROCHFORD Hundred’s London One North survival hopes suffered another huge blow when they were beaten 33-17 by Chingford.

Bottom-of-the-table Hundred know they must overhaul the East London side if they are to avoid relegation but they are now 18 points behind them.

Laurie Cooke touched down twice for Hundred at the weekend while Lloyd O’Connor also scored a try.

Marcus Spremulli added a conversion, but it was not enough to prevent a disappointing defeat.

Chingford’s win was also bad news for-second-from bottom Basildon. They were beaten 56-8 at Diss and are now 13 points from safety with just six games to go.
