Mickey Spillane - back in Southend United's starting line-up
SOUTHEND United have made one change to their starting line-up for this afternoon’s game at Port Vale.
That alteration comes in midfield where Mickey Spillane has been recalled in place of the injured Danny Mayor.
However, Blues are expected to change to a 4-3-3 formation with Kevan Hurst and Bilel Mohsni out wide, while assistant manager Graham Coughlan is in charge of the side in the absence of the unwell Paul Sturrock.
Southend United: Smith, Clohessy, Cresswell, Prosser, Straker, Hurst, Lund, Leonard, Spillane, Mohsni, Assombalonga
Substitutes: Bentley, Spicer, Woodyard, Harris, Eastwood & Corr
