One change for Southend United against Plymouth Argyle as Ryan Cresswell returns

BLUES boss Paul Sturrock has made one change to his starting line-up for tonight’s game with Plymouth Argyle at Roots Hall, with fit again Ryan Cresswell returning to the side.

The centre-back missed Saturday’s clash against Torquay United with a calf problem but returns at the heart of the back four for this evening’s encounter.

He replaced Matthew Lund, who misses out with a hip problem, meaning Tamika Mkandawire will move back in to midfield.

Freddy Eastwood has again been selected in attack alongside Britt Assombalonga with Barry Corr and Gavin Tomlin both on the bench.
