This live event has finished
Thanks for following the action live here this afternoon. Four pages of reaction, reports and match pictures in Monday's Echo. Send your views of the game to @cjphillips1982 on Twitter.
You've now scored as many as you did in the whole of last season.. Freddy: "I've probably had more games already too."
Freddy Eastwood: "I might have got another goal but it means nothing as we lost the game. It's very disappointing."
Brown: "I’m hoping one or two will come in before the window shuts. It depends on the circumstances of the players we have here. "
Brown added that Mark Phillips is expected to be back in training on Monday.
Brown also revealed Don Cowan has a thigh injury: "He's out for two weeks and that could well affect his future here."
Cowan's month long contract expires tomorrow.
Phil Brown: "I'm bitterly disappointed. We let in two goals from set pieces and we’ll be known as a soft touch if we aren’t careful.
"It's not acceptable. We need to be manful, spill blood and get in people’s faces and we aren’t doing that.
"Everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing but one or two let the team down today."
Reaction to follow.
Match report online here
Wycombe 2, Blues 1
Six minutes of added on time to be played.
Wycombe almost make it 3-1 as Morgan swaps passes with Bloomfield before firing against the crossbar.
Blues need to start getting more bodies in the box here.
Luke Prosser booked after an off the ball clash with Dean Morgan. The Wycombe forward was also shown a yellow card.
Payne replaces Will Atkinson
Looks like Jack Payne could be coming on.
John White booked for dissent
Fourteen minutes to go and it's still 2-1 Wycombe.
Ryan Leonard has a long range shot smothered at the second attempt by Matt Ingram.
Craig Reid is booked for what I presume must be dissent.
Kevan Hurst's right wing cross causes problems and leads to Anthont Straker having a close range shot saved by Matt Ingram before he fires the rebound against the bar. Straker should've scored there.
The two subs link up well as Hurst tees up Reid but his deflected shot flies just wide of the right post.
Double change for Blues as Craig Reid comes on for Barry Corr and Kevan Hurst for Conor Clifford.
Looks like Craig Reid is about to come on for Blues and Kevan Hurst.
Ben Coker fires over after swapping passes with Anthony Straker down the left hand side.
Freddy Eastwood's header from Ben Coker's left wing cross is tipped around right post by Wycombe goalkeeper Matt Ingram.
Second half is underway.
Wycombe 2, Blues 1
Blues come close to equalising when Conor Clifford's right wing corner picks out who I think was John White and he heads against the crossbar from eight yards.
Here's what you missed.
With seven minutes on the clock, Wycombe took the lead as Sam Wood’s right wing free-kick picked out Dean Morgan just eight yards out and the former Blues loanee send a downward header in to the bottom left hand corner of the net.
The manner of the goal would have infuriated Shrimpers boss Phil Brown whose side also conceded from a set piece at Chesterfield last Saturday.
But Blues were behind for just six minutes as Freddy Eastwood continued his fine scoring sequence to bring Blues level.
Ryan Leonard helped to make his latest effort as he charged in to the left hand side of the penalty area before delivering a low cross in to the path of the in form forward who fired a low, right footed shot in to the bottom right hand corner of the net from 12 yards.
The effort made it four goals in four successive games for Eastwood – his best scoring sequence in eight years – and also equalled his tally from the whole of last season.
However, the Shrimpers were unable to build on the equaliser and went behind for a second time, in the 32nd minute, with Wycombe scoring from another set piece.
This time a left wing corner from substitute Max Kretzschmar picked out Steven Craig and his near post header flew high in to the right hand side of the goal.
The effort angered Blues who felt certain the corner should not have been awarded in the first place
Apologies for the lack of updates. The website went down but is now back working. Blues are down at the moment though, losing 2-1.
Plenty of Blues fans have made the trip to the game and are in fine voice behind the goal.
Blues wearing yellow and black striped shirts today with white shorts and white socks. Quite a strange look.
Matt Harrold must've done well for Wycombe. They still honour him with their mascot it seems! @ http://t.co/u9ClqKnT39— @CJPhillips1982 31 August 2013
