FORMER Southend United defender Leo Roget is due to finally make his professional boxing debut tomorrow night.
THe 36-year-old had been due to face Mitch Mitchell at Bethnal Green's famous York Hall venue last month.
But he was forced to pull out of the bout following an injury in training, Roget, who had 139 appearances for Blues during six seasons at Roots Hall, will finally get to take on Lincoln boxer Mitchell tomorrow.
The former centre-back, who retired from professional football aged 28, has won his three amateur fights and goes up against an opponent who has lost 15 of his 18 bouts.
