SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has made one enforced change to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s FA Cup clash at Chesterfield with Conor Clifford coming in to replace the suspended Will Atkinson in midfield.
He lines up alongside Marc Laird and Michael Timlin after the Shrimpers were unable to complete a move for Gomis Bedsente in time for him to figure at the Proact Stadium.
However, striker Barry Corr is fit enough to figure after shaking off a slight ankle injury while Freddy Eastwood is back on the bench after recovering from a knee problem.
