JACK Jones insists London One North leaders Westcliff will take nothing for granted when they take on bottom of the table Old Haberdashers this weekend.

Haberdashers have triumphed just once in their 14 games so far this season.

But Jones is certain they will still provide Westcliff with a stern test.

“We don't tend to look at where teams are in the table as we all know anything can happen in rugby,” said Jones.

“We are expecting a good game against them too because taking away their position in the table they are a good side and they showed that with the away game earlier in the season.

“We will again need to execute our own game plan and focus on getting things right and staying on track.”

Westcliff also head in to the game having returned to the top of the table on the back of two straight wins.

Last weekend’s 27-15 win at Brentwood put Westcliff ahead of title rivals Eton Manor who were without a fixture due to the wet weather.

And Jones felt the victory was a significant step forward for his side.

“It was enormously important for us,” said the fly-half.

“We kicked off the New Year with a win and a bonus point and I think the game was as good as it could have been in those conditions really.

“I think we played them well and executed what we set out to do.

“Going top puts pressure on the teams below us to get the wins and I think it’s also good for our team morale.”
