SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has made two changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s game at Plymouth Argyle.
Kevan Hurst and Mark Phillips, who makes his 100th Blues appearance, have both come back in to the side after being rested for last weekend’s FA Cup clash against Millwall with Adam Thompson and the injured John White dropping out.
Ryan Leonard skippers the side in the absence of White and also switches to right back against his former side.
Midfielder Bedsente Gomis has also been included in the match-day squad for the first time since signing.
Southend United: Bentley, Leonard, Phillips, Prosser, Coker, Atkinson, Clifford, Timlin, Hurst, Corr, Straker
Substitutes: Smith, Laird, Eastwood, Woodrow, Gomis, Payne & Thompson
