CONCORD Rangers’ home match against Havant & Waterlooville tomorrow has been postponed — and for once a waterlogged pitch is not to blame.

The scheduled Skrill South match at the Aspect Arena will be rescheduled because Havant will be playing their FA Trophy fixture against Aldershot, which was postponed on Saturday.

Competition rules state the Trophy tie must be played on the next possible date, which is tomorrow.

The Beachboys have announced new dates for their other postponed games. Staines Town will visit Concord on Tuesday, February 25, with Basingstoke at the Aspect Arena on Tuesday, March 25. Rangers head to Tonbridge Angels on Tuesday, April 1. All three matches will kick off at 7.45pm.

Concord’s Essex Senior Cup semi-final will still take place on Tuesday, February 18, but will be played at the Aspect Arena and not at Colchester.
