JASON Williams, Josh Banton and Jack Bridge have all been offered professional contracts at Southend United.

The youngsters have impressed while in action for the club’s youth team this season.

And manager Phil Brown is therefore keen to keep them at Roots Hall.

“We have offered all three of these lads a professional contract and very much hope they will sign,” said Brown.

“They all have real potential and I’ve been impressed by what I’ve seen so we’ve offered them all deals.

“It’s great that the club is able to produce these players and we’ve already had Ted Smith sign his pro deal which we’re all delighted about.”

Striker Williams has already played twice for the first team this season while centre-back Banton and midfielder Bridge, who has been with Blues since the age of nine, have been on the bench.
