Southend United goalkeeper Daniel Bentley: "It was another good defensive display but maybe we lacked that bit of quality in front of goal again. However we're all still working very hard and still believe we can make the play-offs this season."
Southend United's assistant manager Dave Penney: "We're disappointed because we should've won the game. The chances were there for us in the second half and we should've got the goals to get the three points. If we had put one of them away then this would've been the perfect away performance."

Blues boss Phil Brown has made three changes to his starting line-up for tonight’s clash at Bristol Rovers with Lee Barnard, Michael Timlin and Will Atkinson coming in to the side.
Timlin and Atkinson return in midfield with Conor Clifford dropping down on to the bench and Marc Laird dropping out of the squad altogether.
The final alteration sees Barnard coming in for Anthony Straker however Blues are still expected to line up in a 4-3-3 formation.
New loan signing Jamar Loza has been named among the substitutes.
