Southend United 3, Oxford United 0, LIVE BLOG

This live event has finished

10:43pm

Southend United manager Phil Brown: “Jamar caught the eye and he has that pace we’ve been missing all season.

“It was his night really and he showed his quality.

“I just hope Chris Hughton doesn’t want him back any time soon because he might need someone like that for himself soon.

“We could’ve won by more had their goalkeeper not made some great saves and it was great to have that quality in the final third out there.

“It really did make a difference and it’s nice not to be stood here with my moaning face on like I have for the last few games.”
