Thanks for sending in your questions. This Q & A will now be held every Wednesday between 1pm and 2pm and can hopefully soon start to grow in popularity. See you all next week.
Who is your favourite player at the club?
Chris: "Personality wise the squad is the nicest it's been for many years now. It's a really good group of people and everyone is easy to talk to. I don't really have a favourite player. I enjoy watching Kevan Hurst and Ryan Leonard when on form and Jamar Loza was also very exciting against Oxford. Interview wise I would say Barry Corr and Michael Timlin are the best to talk to and, being a Blues fan, I think you automatically have to love Freddy Eastwood for all he's done for the club. "
Do you think we can now go on a 12 game unbeaten run?
Chris: "I think that would be very difficult as there are games against Rochdale, Fleetwood and Burton coming up. However, I certainly wouldn't rule out promotion for the team this season as they're gathering momentum again at just the right time."
If Southend don't get promoted do you think Phil Brown will be sacked?
Chris: "No, I don't. He's done a good job this season. Progress has been made on and off the pitch and I think he will still be here at the start of the next campaign, providing nobody else comes in for him during the summer."

What ever happened to Rio Alderton and is Dr Sinha still the club doctor?
Chris: "Dr Sinha has now retired, he was presented with a nice trophy at a recent home game for all of his efforts over the years. I think Rio had a trial with Real Madrid but it was unsuccessful. I should really check up on where he is now. Could be a story there, especially with the World Cup and Olympics being held in a place named after him."
Do you think Southend United can make the payoffs this year?
Chris: "Yes. On average in the past 10 years it has taken 70 points to finish in the top seven. We currently have 62 points. I think we will beat AFC Wimbledon and Accrington at home and that would take us to 68. Then we need to take two points from the tough games we have against Rochdale, Fleetwood and Burton. The team are now playing much better, winning their last three games so I'm certainly a lot more confident than I was a few weeks ago when we hadn't won for 13 games."
What is the very latest official line on Fossetts Farm?
Chris: "The latest line from the club is that building work will start in the spring. That continues to be the answer whenever the stadium is mentioned by any of our reporters. I know people here have been trying to get an update so hopefully there will be one soon. It's been going on for so long now though that I'm not really too sure how much attention people actually pay to what is said."
