Solid performance. Accrington came with a plan to pack out the midfield. Good to keep a clean sheet.

@andybaloo1973

Woeful in the first half and really lacked pace up front. Second half was much better.

@jack_kershaw_

Solid rather than spectacular but a vital three points that almost certainly books us a play-off spot.

@alfieboy2

One striker at home? We’ll take the three points. Accrington came for a draw and we struggled to make chances.

@charles_colin

Tough to watch, tactics consistently wrong but doesn’t really matter as result was all important.

@moorhouse79

Good win. Harder than it needed to be but the ball retention was superb. Onwards and upwards.

@davidbarrett55

Not pretty at times but a well fought 1-0. Another clean sheet but not enough goals at the other end.

@cpmaint

Scrappy game but the result was all that mattered.

@hi4headrecs

Should have started 4-4-2 at home. Corr at home needs someone behind on the shoulders of the centre-backs. Hard fought victory.

@harrisufc

A half decent performance but didn’t get the ball forward quickly enough and didn’t create many chances.

Tactics to begin with were poor, but Phil Brown deserves a bit of credit for recognising the problems, changing the mindset of players at half time (they were much more positive afterwards), and then changing it further with the substitution that altered our formation and brought rewards within a few minutes. Substitutions were made at a time in the game to affect it rather than waiting until too late.

UTB!
