Reece Topley has signed a new contract extension with Essex Cricket Club.
The seamer, who is a member at Colchester and East Essex CC, has put pen to paper on a new deal which will take him up to the end of the 2015 season.
Topley said: “I am delighted to sign an extension to my contract with Essex as I have been at the Club since I was nine years old and continue to really enjoy my cricket here at Chelmsford."
Topley, who featured in Essex's memorable win over Sri Lanka in a rain-affected day-night match on Tuesday night, was an ever present in their side across all formats of the game in 2013, taking more than 80 wickets.
He has also been a key part of Essex's Twenty20 team over recent times and was the country’s leading wicket taker across the last two seasons combined.
