LUKE Prosser has added to Southend United’s injury concerns after suffering a back spasm.

The centre-back, who has not started for the Shrimpers since January, endured an interrupted night’s sleep on Wednesday due to the pain.

And he now joins John White and Michael Timlin in being a doubt for tomorrow’s crunch clash with Burton Albion.

“Luke has a back problem and is now also a doubt for the game,” confirmed Blues boss Phil Brown.

“He didn’t sleep very well on Wednesday night because he had a back spasm so we will need to how he reacts to treatment before deciding if he will be available for the game tomorrow.

“It’s the same with Michael Timlin and his ankle and John White’s thigh so there are one or two niggles in the camp and a few things will need to be thinking out.”

However, if Timlin and White are both passed fit then the Shrimpers are unlikely to make many changes to their starting line-up.

But Brown must decide between Jacob Murphy and Anthony Straker on the left flank.
