Winning season – Shoeburyness High School’s Year 7 basketball team

SHOEBURYNESS High School’s Year 7 basketball team have recorded a winning season in their first year together.

The team wrapped up their campaign by beating Maldon school Boswells and school PE teacher Adam Miller who is confident they will be ready to compete in both county and regional competitions next year.

Two players have had exceptional seasons, Owen Young and Josh Bussens, and they were rewarded by being picked for the Essex under-13 team – despite being a year younger than most – for the Eastern Regions competition which Essex won Young has also been noticed by the under-13 East of England coaching and staff and has had a trial for their team.
