SOUTHEND United season cards are back on sale for the 2014/15 campaign.

Prices have been frozen for the forthcoming season.

And Shrimpers boss Phil Brown is keen for fans to snap up the tickets and make Roots Hall a tough place for opposing teams to visit.

“The atmosphere for the game against Burton Albion was absolutely unbelievable and the noise levels throughout were superb,” said Brown.

“I was proud to be the manager here and as you walked out of the tunnel to see a sea of blue, I realised the size of this club, and how good the level of support is here.

“It’s the sort of atmosphere we want, and need, at every game next season, where the fans and players go hand-in-hand, in terms of the support, and the type of performance supporters want to see.”

Season card holders from the 2013/14 campaign who are yet to renew will have their seats held until Monday June 30 after which there will be a swap week in which new season card holders can move into any of the seats not taken back up by previous season card holders.

With prices being frozen it means that supporters aged under eight will be able to watch each game for just £1 with their season card costing just £23.

An adult season card comes to £15.20 a game, a saving of nearly £6 per match compared to the normal match-day prices. Students, young persons (17-21), seniors and disabled supporters will pay less than £10 per game, while those aged nine to 16 will pay just £3.20 per match.

In the ever-increasingly popular family stand, one adult and one child season card together comes to £350 – working out at £15.20 per game. For details contact the ticket office on 08444 77 00 77 or visit www.southendunited.co.uk
