BILLERICAY Town will take on Championship side Millwall to round off a hectic pre-season schedule.
The Blues will welcome the Lions to New Lodge on Saturday, July 26 and will be the second side from the second-tier to make the journey to Essex as part of their early season preparations, after Charlton Athletic were announced last month.
Manager Craig Edwards will also see his young squad play friendlies against football league teams Southend United and Dagenham & Redbridge, Conference Premier team Eastleigh, Conference South’s Hemel Hempstead Town, Ryman South side Guernsey and Eastern Counties team Hamstead Town.
Boss Edwards said: "Four pro clubs, including two from the Championship and runaway leaders of the Southern Premier League. Plus a nice little trip to Guernsey to boot. If Carlsberg did pre-season’s..."
Billericay will begin their pre-season with a trip to Halstead Town on Saturday, July 12.
