Jacqui Bratt emerged triumphant at the club’s Peter Rouse competition with 76 points.
Gill Hawkins was second (79) and Sallyann Pattern third (81).
Elsewhere at the club, Janet Ainsley was the winner of the Spring Meeting Sterry Cup finishing on 35 points ahead of Pat Rogers and Chris Gozzett (both on 32 points).
Penny Paton and Anne Roberts won the nine-hole greensomes winners and Joan Parks won through the third round of the IDA Bunting against Gayle Laybourne from Crondon Park.
Finally, the club’s lady golfers raised £1,480 for the Southend Sunflower Trust who provide funding for equipment for children with special needs in the local area. This was raised over the past year of captain Joan Parks and the Drive In of Kathy Walsh.
