Jessica Judd named in the Great Britain squad for European Championships

JESSICA Judd has a Commonwealth Games and European Championships double to look forward to this summer.

The 19-year-old from Canvey was yesterday named in the Great Britain squad for the European Championships in Zurich in August.

She took the third and final place for the 800m and will compete alongside reigning champion Lynsey Sharp and Alison Leonard.

The championships take place between August 12 and 17, just over a week after the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow where Judd will be representing England.
