BILLERICAY Town have added five new players to their ranks as the new season draws closer.
Cyrus Mahler, Jack Edwards, Glenn O'Hanlon, Matt Pooley and Marko Cancar have signed deals that will see them play at New Lodge next season.
Former Southend United youth team captain and local lad Jack Edwards and Swiss defender Cyrus Mahler will provide competition for places in midfield, with veteran Glenn Poole and Callum Dunne making the positions their own last year.
Pooley, formerly of Gillingham and Dagenham & Redbridge, and O'Hanlon, formerly of Arsenal, have also signed.
Cancar will provide competition for Billy Lumley between the sticks.
And Craig Edwards told the Echo these five additions were not the end of his summer signings.
