SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has reverted back to the same side that started the opening day of the season for this afternoon’s clash against Stevenage at Roots Hall.
The Shrimpers boss made seven changes to the team for Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup tie with Walsall.
But he has decided to line up with the same 11 that played at Accrington Stanley.
As a result, Barry Corr and Myles Weston have both been recalled in attack while summer signing Isaac Layne has been named on the bench for the first time since joining from Billericay Town.
Layne comes in for midfielder Will Atkinson who misses out with an eye injury.
Southend United: Bentley, White, Bolger, Prosser, Coker, Clifford, Leonard, Hurst, Corr, Weston, Coulthirst.
Substitutes: P Smith, Ibenfeldt, Thompson, Worrall, Barnard, Payne & Layne
