HULLBRIDGE Sports are hoping to win their fourth match in a row when they tackle Takeley tomorrow.

Sports host the mid table side at Lower Road, aiming to improve on last term’s 1-1 draw and they are in the right form to do that, having won five of their eight league matches to sit 3rd in the league.

But management team Dan Braney and Mark Bliss have doubts over the fitness of striker Kurtis Clarke, midfielder Harry Skinner and keeper Bobby Mason after they picked up slight knocks in the win at rivals Southend Manor.

Although several youngsters from the reserve side are hoping to join Matt Clarke, who has started at left back in the last two matches, in making their mark on the first team.

However, Kurtis Clark and Liam Nash have been in tremendous form so far this season so Braney and Bliss will be hoping to have Clarke available.

Elsewhere Bowers & Pitsea are on the road at Clapton, in what will be a real test of their credentials.

Clapton thumped Basildon United 4-1 last weekend while Bowers are unbeaten this season in the league. They have lost only one of their last 11 games in all competitions, their only defeat coming at the hands of Ryman Premier outfit Witham Town in the FA Cup.

Rob Small is boosted by the return of striker Rob Whitnell from suspension, although Frank Everett and Dan Brown are both sidelined for their red cards against Witham Town in the FA Cup defeat.

Tom Hine is sidelined with a fractured wrist but Sean Hinton is back in contention having been out of action since the Witham loss due to a head injury.

Craig Gillam is hoping for an improvement from his Basildon United side after they were beaten 5-1 in his first game in charge.

And he will fancy their chances at a struggling Enfield 1893 side, who are currently in 18th position in the division.

Gillam is still without suspended keeper Russell Harley and George Whitby is also unavailable. However, Mike Finneran and George Light are fit to return for the Bees.

Southend Manor visit Ilford in a mid-table clash as they search for their first win in a month.
