ROCHFORD Hundred will be seeking their second successive win when they host Diss in London Two North East at Magnolia Road tomorrow.

Rochford kicked off the new campaign with a disappointing 29-0 defeat against Chelmsford before returning to winning ways against local rivals Basildon last weekend.

Diss have also started the season with one win and one defeat and will be looking to build on the 33-21 win against Saffron Walden they enjoyed last time out.

And Rochford’s first team manager Graham Pratt believes his team will be in for a tough afternoon.

“Diss have recently come down from London One and we know them very well having played against them many times so we will definitely need to be right on our game to get a good result, “said Pratt.

“However, the lads are in confident mood after the good win against Basildon who had just beaten Diss the week before.

“We know that a few regular players were missing from that side but Diss are now almost at full strength so we will need to front up and take them on right from the start.”

Rochford’s young prop forward Harry Booker has been selected in the side after impressing from the bench last weekend.

Jake Knowles has also come in to the side to replace university bound Andrew Bevan while Tom Dulieu will start on the wing.

Also in London Two North East, winless South Woodham Ferrers face another of the region’s teams as they host Basildon.

Billericay have also yet to win in London Three North East and will be hoping for a case of third time lucky when they entertain eighth placed Old Brentwoods.

But in Essex One, Canvey Island have won back to back matches and will be looking to make it three when they take on a Bancroft team who have yet to triumph this term.
