SOUTHEND United striker Ellis Brown has joined Witham Town on loan, along with left-back Kane Farrell.
The youngsters both lined up for Blues in Tuesday night’s disappointing Essex Senior Cup defeat to Harlow Town.
But they will now be spending the next month with the Ryman Premier League side.
Teenage centre-back Dan Matsuzaka is also joining Ryman One North leaders Harlow on a work experience loan.
And Shrimpers boss Phil Brown feels the loan spells will do help the young players improve.
“I think it’s important they go out and get games in mens’ football,” said Brown.
“Kane and Dan have gone on work experience loans which means they can also still play in any development matches we have during that time.”
Blues also sent striker Jason Williams on loan to Conference South side Chelmsford City yesterday.
