FORMER Arsenal starlet Kim Little gave Billericay Town Ladies an insight to life as a professional when she put on a training session for the team last night.

The 24-year-old put Town players through their paces at New Lodge and it was a great session, according to Billericay manager Kim Coster.

She said: “It was inspiring to have such a football icon and role model, with her enthusiasm and attitude, come to the club and it created a real buzz.

“And for Kim to do it in her own time, is not only good for Billericay, but for all inspiring ladies footballers.”

Little is one of the Britain’s best known female footballers.

The 24-year-old Scotland international represented Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics and can count Arsenal as one of her former clubs.

She is currently playing in America with Seattle Reign and a break in their season, meant Little has returned to Britain and found time in her schedule to help out Billericay.

Blues manager Coster knows Little through a mutual friend and the pair have been trying to arrange the visit to New Lodge for a couple of years.

Stevenage midfielder Tom Pett, 23, helped Little put on the training session for the Eastern Region Premier Division side.
