SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown felt his side were robbed of all three points at AFC Wimbledon last night.

The Shrimpers had to settle for a 0-0 draw at Kingsmeadow.

But Brown was adamant Barry Corr’s 78th minute strike bounced over the goal-line after hitting the underside of the crossbar and should have resulted in Blues recording another away win.

“I’ve looked at Barry’s shot on the DVD and to me it does look as though it’s gone over the line,” said Brown.

“I spoke to the linesman about it and he said he couldn’t be sure whether or not the shot was over the line and when there’s that doubt about a decision as important as that then you can’t give it.

“That’s fair enough but I’m still disappointed because I think it’s gone in and I’m viewing this as two points dropped for us.

“Coming here and picking up a point isn’t a bad result but with the possession and the chances we had I think we should’ve won.”

Blues’ draw also saw them slip down to sixth in the League Two table, five points below the automatic promotion places.
