CONCORD Rangers manager Danny Cowley has agreed to take the vacant manager’s position at Conference National club Braintree Town.
Cowley, along with brother and assistant manager Nicky, leaves the Beach Boys for the Iron after an incredibly successful eight years.
Cowley has taken the club from the Essex Senior League to the Conference South in that time, winning three promotions and six cup competitions including the Essex Senior Cup, the most recent of which was only 10 days ago.
And having led Concord to 7th in the league this season, their best ever finish, Cowley has now decided to make the move to Braintree after their manager Alan Devonshire left the club last month.
