QUEENS Park Rangers manager Chris Ramsey has confirmed he is interested in signing Southend United goalkeeper Daniel Bentley.

The Championship club have yet to make a bid for the highly rated 22-year-old shot-stopper.

But, speaking after his side’s 1-1 draw with Italian side Atalanta this afternoon, Ramsey – a former Shrimpers defender - revealed he is keen to take Bentley to Loftus Road.

“Bentley of Southend is a player on our signings list,” said Ramsey.

Bentley has already attracted an offer of £1million from Hull City this summer but Blues chairman Ron Martin opted to reject the bid.
