THE PREVIEW: The Beach Boys picked up a much-needed victory against Margate on Bank Holiday Monday, following a run of four straight defeats.

The return of midfielder Max Cornhill, combined with the power of captain Steve King and vice-captain James White, has given the Beach Boys a huge lift this term, with the three already contributing four goals this term.

But they travel to a side who have been improving as the season has gone on. Sutton were beaten last time out, but were five games unbeaten before that.

Concord are yet to beat Sutton since their promotion in 2013, with three draws and one defeat to their name.

WHAT HE SAYS: Concord Rangers boss Adam Flanagan: “Monday’s win was a step in the right direction and it is essential that we continue progressing.

“Sutton will be a tough test on a new 3G surface but we will be working on trying to get that win over them we haven’t managed so far. We had worked very hard leading up to the Bank Holiday weekend so getting a win over the two games was reward for the effort the team had shown. It is now up to them to keep working hard and push us on further in the upcoming weeks.”
