THURROCK made it five London One North wins in a row with a 36-17 victory at Ruislip.

T’s, who remain second in the table, were forced to dig deep to maintain their 100 per start to the season.

And their director of rugby Dean White was thrilled by the latest triumph.

“To win at Ruislip and come away with the bonus point is a massive achievement for this young side,” said White.

“We are still building each week and as long as we keep focused we can be positive about having a good season.

“We had to make several changes to the starting line-up at Ruislip but the performance remained of a high standard and it was very pleasing to score a number of tries.”

Charlie Russo bagged Thurrock’s first try of the game which was converted by Tom Worsfold.

James Flavin then also crashed over with Worsfold again added the extras.

Ruislip replied with a converted try which cut Thurrock’s lead to 14-7 at half-time before T’s raced went further ahead with a try from Bradleigh Retigan which Worsfold converted.

However, Ruislip continued to fight and soon got back into the game with an unconverted try before Thurrock replied Hagen Mumba sprinting through to score.

Moments later, Ruislip bagged another try of their own but Thurrock had the final say with Jake Barrand adding a drop goal and converting a try from Andy Nimmo.
